$2,256 a year, all in. That is $1,068 more than the cheapest option. Widest range of formats.

How we make money: one company on this page — Coreage Rx — pays us a commission when a reader signs up through our link. It buys them nothing else: not a better score, not a higher place in the table, not the removal of a single criticism. Our scoring method and full disclosure are both public.

The cheap Hims numbers you have seen — $49, $79 — are oral kits. The weekly semaglutide injection lands nearer $188 to $238 a month once the membership is counted, or roughly $2,256 to $2,856 a year.

That gap between the advertised figure and the injectable figure is the single most misread thing about this company. Oral and injectable GLP-1s are not interchangeable products, and comparing a $79 oral kit against a $99 weekly injection is comparing two different treatments on one axis.

The $79 entry point is for oral kits, not the weekly injection. Injection pricing lands nearer $199 before membership.

Where the money goes

The $39 membership applies whichever format you choose. Oral semaglutide at around $149 for the 1.5 mg dose is a legitimate option on its own terms and worth considering if you would rather not inject — just do not treat it as the cheap version of the injection.

Large publicly traded telehealth platform. Sells oral kits, compounded injections and branded Zepbound side by side, with a membership required across the board.

What the same money buys elsewhere

Coreage Rx at $99 a month on the annual plan is about $1,188 a year, saving roughly $1,068 against the Hims injectable route. Zealthy at $151 saves about $444. Mochi at $178 saves about $120 and throws in an insurance team.

Is the extra worth it?

The argument for paying more here is the same as for tirzepatide: breadth, reliability and an exit to branded medication if the compounding rules tighten further. That is a real consideration this year and worth weighing rather than dismissing.

What we checked

  • Weight-loss membership advertised at $39 for the first month.
  • Compounded GLP-1 injections priced from $199/month.
  • Oral medication kits priced from $79/month.
  • Branded Zepbound offered at $1,899/month.
  • Company has announced oral semaglutide pricing starting around $49/month, with the 1.5 mg dose around $149/month.

Verified 2026-09-18. Prices in this market move, so treat anything older than a month as a starting point rather than a quote.

The good

  • One account covers oral, compounded injectable and branded options.
  • Large enough to keep supply steady when smaller sellers run dry.
  • Branded Zepbound is available without leaving the platform.

The bad

  • The $39 membership is charged on top of every medication price.
  • The cheapest advertised numbers refer to oral kits, which are not equivalent to weekly injections.
  • Renewal pricing is materially higher than the introductory rate.

Watch for this at checkout. The advertised entry prices and the membership are separate charges. Add $39/month to whatever medication figure you were quoted.

Verdict

Work out which format you are buying, add $39, then compare. On the weekly injection it is a mid-priced option wearing a budget price tag in the adverts.
